A link has been made available on the BSNL portal. Online sale through bank accounts (Internet Banking) alone is proposed initially, and the option of debit/credit cards shall be introduced at a later stage. The procedure for purchase of a card is as follows:
i. The customer shall have to register before he/she is allowed to purchase a card. At the time of registration the customer is provided with a registration ‘id’ and ‘password’ and his/her personal details are captured.
ii. After successful login to the ITC module of Portal, the customer is directed to the landing page, wherein the option of purchase of ITCs/ CallNow and FLPP recharge coupon is available for selection.
iii. Customer can then choose one of the suitable denominations of IT Card/CallNow Card/ FLPP Recharge coupon. After this the customer is shown the total amount (price+taxes) to be paid for the card and is prompted to make payment by redirecting the customer to payment aggregator. At this time the customer has the option of selecting one of the pre registered bank accounts for making the payment by Internet banking.
iv. Upon receipt of confirmation of success of payment from bank the PIN can be viewed by the customer on a link page. At a later date also the customer can login and view the details through ‘view payment transactions’ of the concerned card section.
