Yes, you heard that right! The immensely popular BBM messenger service is now officially available on cross platforms – Android and iOS.
A lot of rumors and wrong links went all over the internet pulling in many interested users. BlackBerry also warned users that the launch was not official yet. But today, company made the official launch to many users worldwide across stores. You can download and install BBM app with one tap.
Due to huge requests and previous server issues, company decided to make the BBM available only via invite. Well, sadly, you will have to wait until you receive an email from company to start using the app. To request for access, simply download the app, enter your email and wait for the company to respond back.
The company did not mention anything about the waiting period. So wait no longer and send them a request. Also, the Windows version is also planned in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates on that.
Once we get the hands-on on the messenger, we shall come up with a detailed review on all platforms.
So, what do you think? Will you wait in the queue or continue using your existing messenger service? Comments your thoughts below.
