Fastest Broadband Internet in INDIA with Airtel 50Mbps Plan

Can you guess what is the fastest internet speed achieved till date? Answer is 40Gbps... Enjoyed by a 75-year old Swedish woman. Great isn`t? Well let’s go back to normal. Recently India`s Top Telecommunication company Bharti Airtel launched India`s fastest wired broadband with 50Mbps speed.

Airtel is able to provide this much high speed with the help of latest VDSL2 (Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line) technology. This new technology supports services such as voice, video, data, IPTV, high definition television (HDTV) and interactive gaming.

Announcing the launch, K. Srinivas, Joint President-Telemedia Services, Bharti Airtel, said, “Airtel, with this step, brings in a world class experience for its broadband customers. We are delighted to introduce 50 Mbps speed - the fastest, wired broadband service on next generation VDSL2 technology. This ultra-fast broadband connection will allow customers, the convenience to download songs in seconds and full length feature films in less than three minutes.

Here are the details of Airtel High Speed Broadband Plans

50 Mbps for Rs 8999/month
200GB Data transfer Limit
Bonus services: Parallel Ringing, Website Builder (Basic), PC Secure (Anti-Virus software), Online Storage, Unlimited Gaming on Games on Demand.

30 Mbps for Rs 7999/month
200GB Data transfer Limit
Bonus Services: Same as first plan

Well you have few other options also with little less speed. Recently MTNL launched 20 Mbps plan with name VDSL Combo for 4999/month.Plan details are -

  • Speed of up to 10 to 20 Mbps and also bids a free monthly download data of 20 GB.
  • 200 free calls.
  • Rs 0.50 per MB for additional data download
  • Rs 1 per unit as additional call
  • Rs 3000 is fixed as a non-refundable modem charge
  • Registration, Installation, and testing charges including DEL costs Rs 2000

  1. Doesn't sound like much of a deal to me! I am paying $15 a month (Rs.600) for 6 mbps. More than enough. Much more than enough! :)

  7. hi iam amit tiwati if u r using data cards in that case u have to recharge it with limited usage plan for better speed iam using BSNL@ relaince net connect in comparesion of both i'd get 3mb/s in relaince current downloading speed but in BSNL only 75-80kb/s so better u can buy tata photon it charges 7000rs for 6 months and in gives you current downloading speed 6mb/s for 6gb data usage and then it gives 350kb/s as an current downloading speed from which ihad downloaded crises2 full game
    so i recommend you all for tata photon,tata photon max&tata docomo one more important thing Iam in gujrat
