Are you having sound card problems with your Betamax /dellmont VoIP software provided by Finaria SA?
The common symptoms of this problem after you install the application and try to call using the softphone are
- You are Unable to hear sound from softphone.
- Lot of delay in sound when you speak.
- Your friend is unable to hear voice.
- You get error: the call failed due to sound device problems in this computer.
- Even changing the sound device does not solve yoru problem.
- Even running sound Audio wizard does not help.
- For other applications sound works perfectly.
Generally Smartvoip, actionvoip, voipblast and jumblo provides cheap rates to India and if you are unable to use these software because of this sound card problem then we have the solution for this
Problem:
Either you are using Microsoft windows vista or windows7 and having compatibility issue of the software with this version. In this case the sound card gives error and you don't hear anything, neither your friend.
Solution:
Please follow these stepwise instructions
- Go to your program file folder and locate your application
- For example, for smartvoip, this application will be located
- C:\Program Files\SmartVoip.com\SmartVoip
- Then find “SmartVoip.exe”
- Right click >> Properties >> Compatibility
- Check (Select) compatibility mode with windows xp (Service pack2)
- Press ok and restart the application.

ReplyDeleteEach PC has different sound card drivers and OS, so its difficult for me to help to reinstall the sound card driver.
So you have to find your driver and reinstall it, in simple way, you can find the the sound card driver propertied from your control panel or hardware properties. or install Belarc Advisor to see the hardware and software installed on your PC.., once you find the driver of your PC, download the latest available driver from the web and reinstall it. I hope that in that way the problem could be solved.

Without knowing the full history, it would be difficult to diagnose the VoIP sound problem that you are facing. I can only suggest you to follow the steps written above.

from your hardware menu, try to update the soundcard driver if you have the internet, its not very difficult.

It started all of a sudden yesterday. It says login error(9). invalid/user pass blaha..blah...but i m giving the correct one. I am able to login to my web account but not to the jumblo client i downloaded and installed. Same thing is happening with my FreeCall client as well...anybody experienced this earlier.
As Jumblo support is very poor it is very difficult to get this sorted out.

I am using windows7 OS and my smart VOIP is not working properly. I can hear but the other person on the call cannot hear my voice. I have performed the steps of changing compatiblity to service pack 2 with no effect. Kindly suggest any work arounds caz i'm loosing money and it is only one way communication.

But I got 20 euros credit in the one which is not working. I tried contacting customer care service for my account abuse several times,but no news from them. This left me all stressed out. hi...i really need some help here. I downloaded Voipdiscount 4.08 version, i'm using it on windows 7 starter. The problem is when i make a call i can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me. Somebody Please help me.. :'(

hello sir,i followed your steps.However still voice is not very clear to my family.Actuly while talking sound device alays turn into mute by it self.what sould i do?? And plz advice me how to download new sound card?
