Sound card problem with smartvoip, actionvoip, jumblo and voipblast used with windows vista and windows7.

Are you unable to hear sound with your VoIP softphone or dialer with Microsoft windows vista and windows7?

Are you having sound card problems with your Betamax /dellmont VoIP software provided by Finaria SA?

The common symptoms of this problem after you install the application and try to call using the softphone are
  • You are Unable to hear sound from softphone.
  • Lot of delay in sound when you speak.
  • Your friend is unable to hear voice.
  • You get error: the call failed due to sound device problems in this computer.
  • Even changing the sound device does not solve yoru problem.
  • Even running sound Audio wizard does not help.
  • For other applications sound works perfectly.



Generally Smartvoip, actionvoip, voipblast and jumblo provides cheap rates to India and if you are unable to use these software because of this sound card problem then we have the solution for this

Problem:
Either you are using Microsoft windows vista or windows7 and having compatibility issue of the software with this version. In this case the sound card gives error and you don't hear anything, neither your friend.

Solution:
Please follow these stepwise instructions

  1. Go to your program file folder and locate your application
  2. For example, for smartvoip, this application will be located
  3. C:\Program Files\SmartVoip.com\SmartVoip
  4. Then find “SmartVoip.exe”
  5. Right click >> Properties >> Compatibility
  6. Check (Select) compatibility mode with windows xp (Service pack2)
  7. Press ok and restart the application.
Now you will be able to talk with your frieds without any problem. Please leave your comment, whether your problem was solved or not.

    Each PC has different sound card drivers and OS, so its difficult for me to help to reinstall the sound card driver.

    So you have to find your driver and reinstall it, in simple way, you can find the the sound card driver propertied from your control panel or hardware properties. or install Belarc Advisor to see the hardware and software installed on your PC.., once you find the driver of your PC, download the latest available driver from the web and reinstall it. I hope that in that way the problem could be solved.

  33. from your hardware menu, try to update the soundcard driver if you have the internet, its not very difficult.

    or try to find the updated sound card driver of your laptop/pc from the internet and install them.

    For laptops, you can find on the official websites and model number.

    i am having issues to login to Jumblo, FreeCall.
    It started all of a sudden yesterday. It says login error(9). invalid/user pass blaha..blah...but i m giving the correct one. I am able to login to my web account but not to the jumblo client i downloaded and installed. Same thing is happening with my FreeCall client as well...anybody experienced this earlier.

    As Jumblo support is very poor it is very difficult to get this sorted out.

  48. i have vista sp2 and when trying to login to actionvoip, the software hangs. i've tried webcalldirect, the same problem. i don't have same problem on my other laptop that has windows 7. i've tried updating soundcard drivers, and the compatibility solution but no luck. when running bandwidth test, it fails when tesing voice. any help would be appreciated.

    I am using a new Toshiba Satellite Pro L450 laptop with Windows 7 Professional and while calling with Jumblo other person cannot hear my voice....I can hear theirs. Please help.
    I have done the above steps to change my compatability mode in Jumblo Properties as Windows XP Service Pack 2. Still not working. Is the compatibility mode correct for Windows 7 Professional. If I update the driver from internet any problem. Can u plss help from where to update the driver if necessary.

  66. I am using windows7 OS and my smart VOIP is not working properly. I can hear but the other person on the call cannot hear my voice. I have performed the steps of changing compatiblity to service pack 2 with no effect. Kindly suggest any work arounds caz i'm loosing money and it is only one way communication.

    I am using Jumblo for a month now but all of a sudden am getting this error 9 and when logging in from website error 4. But I tried creating a new one and it works absolutely fine. But I got 20 euros credit in the one which is not working. I tried contacting customer care service for my account abuse several times,but no news from them. This left me all stressed out.     I am using window 7, and I used to call my home place using action voip. Now it's stopped working.
    problem facing: after calling to number, one time I am hearing ring once, after that it's showing the error as windows is closing the program due to client has stopped working action voip.

    when i check with friends, they are getting the call , once they lift my call they are not able to here any thing.

    money is getting debited as well.

SmartVoip folks also could not give the solution to the problem, even after sending screenshots of the error. They said its an issue with my system.     I am using actionvoip but all of a sudden when I try to login it started saying that the username/password is mandatory and must be atleast 4 characters long and finally username/password is invalid. But when I try to login from a different laptop/PC, I was able to log in sucessfully. I tried contacting the customer service but no use. I have the same problem persisting.     I m using, Voipdiscount, I recently formatted my laptop, but now im not able to sign in, It shows "Connection failure, unable to get a valid server address". I m really confused...I did watever i could. I hav window 7 operating system. Please suggest the tips to solve this problems

    I m using window 7 on dell laptop, PLease mate solve this problem for me.

  109. Hi, I have a W7 with a Realtek drivers updated to the last version 6.0.1 for my MSI MB.
    I tried Rynga and Poivy in Compatibility mode but it doesn't work: when I call telephone number it says "the call failed due to sound device...", so I cannot either start the call.
    What can I do?
